Dr. Kevin Young – Dentist
Dr. Young is delighted to be able to establish a dental clinic in his hometown of Georgetown, Ontario. His grandfather, father and mother have all practiced as pharmacists locally and he is proud to continue the family tradition of providing healthcare to the community.
He is a graduate of Georgetown District High School, where his interest in science and medicine was nurtured. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University in 1998. At the University of Western Ontario School of Dentistry he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and was his class valedictorian in 2003. He has since been active in expanding his clinical skills with courses in sedation dentistry, orthodontics and implant surgery.
His interests outside of work include spending time with his wife Christy and sons Oliver and Damon. Dr. Young is also an avid automobile racer and snowboarder.
Dr. Marcia Domingos – Dentist
Dr. Domingos completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honors at the University College Cork in Ireland. Dr. Domingos is also an Alumni of the University of Waterloo where she completed both her Bachelor of Science as well as her Masters of Science degree.
You will find Dr. Domingos takes her time with each of her patients to allow for all questions to be addressed, leaving her patients feeling at ease and looking forward to their next visit.
In her personal life, Dr. Domingos enjoys her time off spent with her husband and daughter. She is an avid runner, baker, and advocate for living a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Melissa Hurley – Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist
Melissa grew up in Mississauga where she attended Loyola Catholic Secondary School. Melissa went on to earn an Honours Specialization Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Melissa enjoyed a brief career in fundraising where she worked for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. It was here that Melissa truly realized her passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. Melissa decided to couple this passion with her health background and pursued an education in Dental Hygiene at the Ontario Dental Education Institute in Ancaster, where she graduated with First Class Honours. Melissa has also completed the Restorative Dental Hygiene program at George Brown College, allowing her to provide an additional dimension of care to her patients. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, volunteering within the community and travelling.

Gina Morton – Dental Assistant
Gina graduated as a dental assistant in 2006. Since the office’s inception in 2010 she has she has worked as both a dental assistant and dental administrator at Young Dentistry. Mom to three wonderful children, in her space time she enjoys baking cakes and goodies, shopping and travelling with her husband and kids whenever possible.

Alison Murray Brown – Front Desk/Administration
Alison has over 30 years of experience working as a receptionist in dentistry. She has lived in Halton Hills for over 35 years and enjoys being part of this wonderful community. She has worked as a volunteer with many different groups such as Georgetown Soccer Association, Royal Canadian Air Cadets 756 Squadron, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 120, Limehouse Presbyterian Church, and more recently The Limehouse Memorial Hall Board. In addition to her dental reception duties, she and her husband Ted used to raise sheep on his family farm but are slowly working towards retirement. She enjoys travelling (when possible) and spending time with her husband as they watch their 13 grandchildren grow.
Dana Welters – Registered Dental Hygienist
Dana grew up in the Glen Williams area of Georgetown. Dana was an active member of the local ballet school as well as a member of the Blue Fins Swim Club. Dana attended Bishop Reding Secondary School and continued her education at George Brown College to become a Dental Assistant. She then worked alongside Dr. Young for a few years and once again advanced her education by attending the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and graduated in 2006. Dana has explored working overseas in New Zealand and Australia for a number of years where she enjoyed great success in her career. Dana takes enormous pride in ensuring her patients receive the very best of treatment under her care.
In her spare time Dana enjoys cooking, camping, canoeing, hiking and spending time with her husband Shawn and their two boys Conor and Cole.
Penny Dunbar – Certified Dental Assistant
Penny joined the Young Dentistry team in 2016 and brings with her over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She lives in Georgetown where she and her husband are raising their two active girls. Penny enjoys going with her older daughter to swimming lessons and watching her younger daughter play rep soccer. In her spare time Penny enjoys cooking and baking with her family.
Ilona Szczepanik – Registered Dental Hygienist
Ilona is a 2007 graduate of Regency Dental Hygiene Academy. Joining our team in 2017 , Ilona brings with her many years of dental experience. Ilona’s love of dentistry and passion to constantly learn make her a dedicated dental hygienist both in private practice and outside in the community. Ilona creates strong relationships with her patients built on trust and strives to make every patient feel comfortable under her care.
In her time away from the dental chair Ilona and her husband Matt are busy parents to 3 little ones. They enjoy spending outdoor time together, cottage trips, swimming and enjoying our beautiful community of Georgetown.

Devon Knight – Front Desk/Administration
Devon is learning all the elements of a good dental practice in his current role at Young Dentistry. Devon attended University of Western Ontario for Honours Specialization in Biology with a Major in Microbiology & Immunology. Here, he performed research in childhood leukemia and became a contributing published scientist. Devon currently competes in the Canadian Powerlifting Union and volunteers as a Research Assistant at University of Toronto’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Department. In his spare time, Devon likes to tutor secondary and post-secondary students, build models, play piano, and try his hand at new renovation projects at home in the rural outskirts of Halton Hills. His goal at Young Dentistry is to provide the best patient care and gain meaningful work experience in all the facets of compassionate and professional dentistry as he pursues applying to dental school.
Heather Fingado – Registered Dental Hygienist
Natasha Samaroo – Registered Dental Hygienist
Natasha has been helping out the Young Dentistry team since 2015. She grew up in Etobicoke and attended Marian Academy Catholic Secondary School. She began her dental career as a dental assistant in 2005 and later went on to become at Dental Hygienist in 2007. She is passionate about educating and providing the best dental care possible to her patients.
