At Young Dentistry we believe in an honest and upfront policy for the financial aspect of your care. It is sometimes a difficult subject to address, but we hope with communication and clarity we can make it easier!

Payment Options

We want to make sure you are able to receive the best care possible, so we give you several options to pay for your treatment.

  1. Pay for treatment at time of completion. We accept cash, cheque, Interac, credit cards and post-dated cheques.
  2. Prepay for treatment and receive a 5% discount on our fees. The same discount will be applied if paying for a multi-appointment treatment at the first appointment.
  3. Utilize a monthly payment plan from our financing service.
  4. Prepay in installments and proceed with treatment when credit meets estimate.

Note – Lab fees for crowns, bridges etc, will need to be paid at the preparation appointment. Because laboratory fees are from third party providers, these fees cannot be discounted.

We can easily provide an estimate of cost for any treatment option we present to you.

If you have insurance, we do our best to help you understand it and utilize it. This may mean submitting a predetermination for a proposed treatment. Your insurance company will then send you information specifying what benefits you will receive.

It could also mean helping you read the sometimes confusing paperwork that insurance companies may send you. It should be noted that a person’s insurance is a matter of privacy, so there are some limitations to what we can find out on your behalf. We will do everything we can.

Young Dentistry does not accept assignment of insurance benefits. However, because we have electronic claims submissions, you can expect your reimbursement in short order (usually a few days). This policy is a result of an insurance industry trend moving towards dealing directly with their customers and not dental offices.

If you have any questions or need clarification about the policy, we would be happy to discuss it with you further.
